COLOR CODE

Marketers hint at a subset of color theory called color psychology that's basically the idea that each color has certain associations/elicits certain emotions. As such, marketers use these colors to influence your behavior.

What you may not know is that similarly artists apply color psychology to other mediums, including/specifically towards film. That said, next time you're catching a flick, pay attention to its color palette in relation to its overall mood/message. For example, if you notice much green, does the story center on growth, maturity/coming-of-age, or transformation? Keep a pulse on the palettes. Colors tell all.
